Cookie and similar technologies policy

Scope

This policy covers cookies, local storage, session storage, and similar browser technologies. Essential storage supports the booking, security, courier, and privacy-choice features you request. Optional Analytics and Advertising measurement remain off until you grant the relevant category. Personalized advertising is not currently used and remains off.

Essential storage

quick-service-consent stores the policy version, random receipt ID, timestamp, and your category choices until you clear site data or a new policy version requires a new choice. A minimal server receipt is kept for up to 13 months and is not joined to booking or journey data.

swiftdrop-dubai-booking-state keeps your booking draft and confirmation state across refreshes. It can contain the route, contact, package, note, payment-choice, and booking-reference information you entered. It remains on that browser until you reset the booking or clear site data. Do not use a shared device if you do not want another user of that browser to see the draft.

swiftdrop-device-id is used on the authenticated courier interface to coordinate which signed-in device broadcasts an active delivery location. It remains until site data is cleared. Firebase authentication and security services may also use necessary browser storage to authenticate administrators or couriers and prevent abuse.

First-party Analytics storage

With Analytics consent, quick-service-analytics-visitor stores a pseudonymous visitor ID until consent is revoked or site data is cleared; quick-service-analytics-session stores a session lease that expires after 30 minutes of inactivity together with approved source, canonical campaign status, fixed landing category, and one-time service-start flags; and quick-service-analytics-tab remains in session storage for the browser tab. Event buffers, sequence counters, timers, field states, and page-view IDs stay in memory and are not written to browser storage.

Before Analytics consent, the landing page may inspect acquisition parameters only in temporary memory. Nothing is transmitted or permanently stored. If Analytics is allowed, only approved categories are retained; click IDs, search terms, full query strings, and unsafe campaign values are discarded.

Analytics records only allowlisted journey and form-state transitions, never form values, session replay, mouse movement, or keystrokes. Detailed server records expire after 90 days and aggregate reports after 13 months. Revoking Analytics stops collection and removes the visitor, session, and tab identifiers from browser storage.

Google Ads measurement storage

Google Consent Mode v2 uses Basic mode: no Google advertising tag, Ads request, or cookieless advertising ping is made before Advertising measurement consent. After consent, Google may read or write advertising-measurement cookies, including first-party names that begin with _gcl_, to associate an ad interaction with a conversion. Google states that _gcl_ cookies last for 90 days. The tag may automatically receive technical request information described in our Privacy policy; the conversion fields we configure are limited to an approved event, value, currency, and random transaction reference. Enhanced conversions and personalized advertising are not used.

Google Maps and payment providers

Google Maps is a functional service separate from Google Ads. Its scripts and requests load when you ask for address autocomplete, route calculation, geocoding, or a live map. Google may use cookies or similar technologies under its own policies. PayPal or Ziina may use essential security, checkout, and fraud-prevention technologies on their hosted pages; their policies apply there.

Your choices

You can reject, grant, change, or revoke optional categories at any time. Revocation stops future optional collection but does not undo processing already performed lawfully. You can also clear browser storage in your browser settings, although doing so may remove a booking draft or sign you out.
